Prudential Tower's "View Boston" Offers 3D Boston Skyline
On June 15, 2023, View Boston, the Prudential Tower’s 3 floor observation deck will open to the public after being closed for a total revamp. It will offer breathtaking views of the city and beyond as well as dining. As part of the revamp, multiple other experiences were added throughout the massive space. One of which, called Boston 365, offers a 3D model of the city with projection mapping. This technology projects light onto the miniature buildings, creating an amazing light show to reveal the seasons, spirit and celebrations that bring Boston to life.

One of my favorite details of this show includes a panoramic video wall about Boston’s sports teams. The projection mapping lights up the 3D model of the Prudential Tower with the teams respective message; GO PATS, GO SOX, GO B’s and GO C’s!

As an avid photographer of the Prudential Tower, I have shot many images while the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics have been playing their championship games.

The excitement in the city is contagious during a championship run and the Prudential Tower displaying the teams message just helps add to all that excitement!

While our Boston sports teams don’t always win their championships, we do have a great track record! I hope to be able to have the opportunity to photograph the Prudential Tower well into the future as it represents our teams!
